Sales Alert! … Be Careful
This weekend long lines were reported as the going-out-of-business sales are underway at Circuit City locations. The unfortunate news was reported on Friday that they were closing it's 567 stores before the end of March. A statement given by James A. Marcum, vice chairman and acting president of Circuit City Stores, Inc. on Friday said: "We are extremely disappointed by this outcome. The company had been in continuous negotiations regarding a going concern transaction. Regrettably for the more than 30,000 employees of Circuit City and our loyal customers, we were unable to rach an agreement with our creditors and lenders to structure a going-concern transaction in the limited timeframe available, and so this is the only possible path for our company,"
All Circuit City locations are scheduled to close by the end of March, and discounts could reach as much as 90% off in the final days, according to Scott Carpenter, executive vice president of Great American Group, one of the liquidators appointed to close out the stores. Right now merchandise was showing a discount of 10% to 30%.
Our suggestion is to remember that it's not an uncommon practice for an organization doing the liquidating to come in and mark prices up instead of taking percentages off...don't just go off and join the sales fever, there will be a better deal if you wait a bit.. but at the same time if you have a gift card you should be using it sooner rather than later, in case the same thing happens like the KB Toys cards and they become worthless. Remember that a good way to determine a good liquidation sale is to know how long until the store actually closes.
To be on the safe side remember that you can find the best deals for your ink & toner cartridges and printing accesories here at inkjetsuperstore and we're here to stay.

I prefer buying from Internet stores (like yours) where I can quietly search for the best deal rather than spending endless hours on a queue on a liquidation. Thanks for the tip anyway!
