HP… ¿habla Español?

OK my post for today is up but I really was happy when I got twittered the HP news that they just launched for their Spanish-speaking customers an Online Consumer Support Community.

Talking as multi-language speaker, and especially when discussing about technical matters sometimes it is easier to do it in your first language. I actually speak more than two but there are some things that I rather read in Spanish like poetry and other that I need to do it in English like directions and when it comes to love it doesn’t sound better than in Portuguese… eu tenho saudade de voce meu amor!!

Anyway back to the news. HP announced today the following:

A brand new online support forum in Spanish; the forum allows members to connect with one another and help with insight and tips to find answers for HP products.

An updated HP Customer Care website, that helps visitors to find information easily.

Of course HP did their homework and launched a similar site in English back in November of 2008 and they state that: “Since its launch in November 2008, the English language version of the HP consumer support forum has had more than 17 million page views, 28,000 registered users, 42,000 posts and recorded more than 1.25 million searches.” How about that!

Congratulations HP or shall we say Felicidades!
