How does a Toner Cartridge work?

You were expecting so following post will explain what in the world a toner cartridge is and how does it work? You already enlightened your mind with the knowledge of ink cartridges and their insight stuff.

A toner cartridge is used in the laser printer process. The toner is the ink used by copy machines and laser printers. The toner cartridge has a rigid plastic housing that has graphite and the ink powder, a metal fuser roller and a synthetic felt wand; it is replaceable, recyclable, and reusable. You can find OEM toner cartridges as well as remanufactured or compatible cartridges for every laser printer.

So in order to clarify how it works the following is a brief explanation of the laser printing process.
*First, you insert the paper into the laser printer and send out the printing order at that moment the drum surface is charged positively while the drum rotates.
* Second, a laser beam sends a light onto the drum surface during the rotation, and then the area exposed to the laser beam forms an electrostatic image to be printed.

* Third, the toner particles are charged and then attracted to the electrostatic image on the drum.
* Fourth, while this is happening the paper is passing through the drum where it receives negative charges causing the toner to stick to it from the drum surface to the paper.
* Fifth, once the image is transferred to the paper by the static electricity it is fixed into it by heat and pressure given by the heat roller and the pressure roller within the fuser assembly (remember we already discussed the fuser kit).

As you can see it is simpler than it looks! So start printing…

This is something completely different to learn about but I suppose that if one is selling this product then learning the ins and outs is the only way to really go, in order to be a better sale person I believe one really has to know their product. Great post thanks for sharing.

I agree with previous comment. It is useful to know your product, particularly if it is part of a larger product such as a printer that has many parts. It is also useful if you are buying a printer as having some knowledge of the requirements of maintaining your printer will mean that you will be confident and secure when negotiating the sale.
