Reviving an old post with updated HP news!

Back in January we had a post called: “How to print when you’re traveling” and mainly it featured HP's CloudPrint free mobile printing service. But flying around the twitter someone (sorry for not linking straight but the twitterfall was too fast and I just happened to click on the link that said HP) featured an interview with Antonio Rodriguez, chief technology officer of HP's consumer-printing division, regarding the subject.

Thus the title reviving an old post because we had originally presented how to print when not at your office but the service is being developed to do much more. Some highlights of what HP is currently working on to be able to Print anywhere, at any time and use more of what printers will have build in.

Web based printing is what HP is offering by allowing people to connect the printers, scanners, with their servers anywhere with integrated network computers built in thus helping them to print in what ever digital workflow they prefer, for keepsake, business or pleasure and from any device as well.

People will be able to upload information and have it handy when needed. The control of information is something to not let just pass, from the interview it seems that HP is working on security terms that will include strong encryption from client to printer.

Right now they still call it Cloud Print as they research from the experience but marketing is trying to come up with some names…my suggestions. HP total control printing atmosphere! HP’s Printing Heaven… uuhhh I’ll stop there in case I come up with a really good one and I don’t even work for HP.
