Earth Day Crafts and Projects

The great thing about Earth Day Crafts and Projects is that they’ll be long lasting projects. Remember Earth Day is every day and we wanted to share some crafts that can help you remember it always.

Let’s get right on it then:

A) Make a Birth Feeder: When you do this feeder you’ll be not only providing means for birds to eat but also you’ll be recycling and reusing items.

  • All you need is plastic drink bottles, or yogurt pots or milk cartons. Clean them thoroughly, wire or string, bird seed and scissors.
  • Then you Cut a hole in the side large enough to allow a free flow of seeds, but in such a way that it won’t all fall out on the ground in the slightest puff of wind, and won’t get wet if it rains.
  • It’s a good idea to make a few small holes in the bottom of your feeder to allow any rainwater to drain away. Once you have it ready hang it with wire, or even strong string from a tree or your washing line.
  • If your feeder starts to wear out or the food in it grows mold, recycle it and make another one! Remember to keep your feeders well stocked, especially in winter. Birds come to rely on them and will go hungry if you forget.

b ) Join a Freecycle Network. It is important to have a recycling attitude always and instead of piling things on the garage or basement. Give them away to people that need, and want them and will use them again.

c) Calculate your Impact on the Environment. You need to take a green attitude always and once you know how much carbon dioxide you produce you can take action and change your ways.

To end we want to give you the great news that as part of your green stand and pledge to assist you we are having a promotion tomorrow to help you save the Earth. Tomorrow for 24-hours you will save 15% on all remanufactured ink & toner cartridges. By using remanufactured cartridges you let them continue their service life and keep them out land fields.

Print Green, Be Green, we are.
