My HP printer is connected to a wireless network but it doesn't print; why?

Most HP printers come with the possibility of using a wireless network. You can set up Wi-Fi printing which is the fastest wireless technology at a speed of 54Mbps and approximate range of 300ft. while the HP's Bluetooth adapter only has about 30ft of range. But after you successfully installed the wireless network the printer doesn’t want to print. What should you do?

First you’ll need to recognize the reason why this problem is arising and then we provide you with the solution. Simple isn’t it?

Problem 1) the product could be experiencing wireless interference from other electronic devices such as microwave ovens or cordless phones, particularly if the cordless phone operates at 2.4Ghz.
SOLUTION: Minimize the use of other electronic devices such as microwave ovens or cordless phones, particularly if the cordless phone operates at 2.4Ghz, while using the product.

Problem 2): The firewall software on the computer might be blocking access to other devices on the network.
SOLUTION: Always allow access to pop-up dialogs from the firewall software related to HP programs.

Problem 3) If using the default wireless network name (SSID) that is provided by your wireless router or access point, then there would be issues when others in your area are also using the same default name.
SOLUTION: Change the wireless router SSID so that it no longer uses the factory default setting.

Always remember that when there are two or more wireless routers or access points broadcasting the same SSID, wireless devices within the range that are configured to use that SSID will automatically associate with the one that has the strongest signal, even if the security settings are different.
