Like we stated above the following are some comments from real purchasers that we found very helpful in terms of real use, etc. We hope it helps you make up your mind.

“One pointer for most home users: Follow the instruction steps to the letter and don't plug it in ahead of time. Plug-n-play will initiate and it causes some hiccups later on if you are installing the accompanying software.

Print quality was OK. Pretty light on fast speed but I think that is hopefully due to very low ink usage which is fine for high-volume low quality needs. Darkens up nicely on slower speeds. Speaking of speeds? 33 ppm sounds too good to be true and it is. In fact it is laughable at times. I think they probably counted the fastest speed achieved by timing just the time the print head is active and then divided it into one minute without counting sheet feeding and ejecting and data processing. You might get a speed in the 20's ppm if each sheet has only a few characters on it but 33 ppm is not based in reality. Also, that is only if you are printing one long document. If you are printing multiple separate pages, like printing out a bunch of separate Amazon or Ebay packing slips, plan your time carefully. If you want to print out 40 or 50 separate sheets, expect to wait a good 20 minutes or more for the jobs to complete, regardless of your CPU. Under those circumstances, expect no more than 4 OR 5 PAGES PER MINUTE!!”

“I have my own business for Home Desktop Support and know the difference between cheesy and an all out peice of junk. This is not a peice of junk.. it is actually very good for what you are paying for. Copy, Scan and Photo Capture appears to work very well on it. BUT if you are wanting a 'print' quality photo.. don't get this, it does good for the price but not great in you are into Photograhy, you will see a difference, buy a printer that is designed for high quality photo printing.”

“My final thought is IF you need a All in One unit, this is a great machine for the price, IF you need something specific in 'great' quality, go buy a unit caters to that specific function, you'll be thankful you did. BUT for a very good all-in-one machine for just home use or light home office work... this unit works perfect.”
