Do NOT buy this if you are using a pre-Intel Mac (i.e a Power PC - G4/G5 etc). The non-intel Mac driver has no monochrome mode, so EVERY page you print registers as a color page!!! This means you churn through color toner four times faster than you should. That may cost you (depending on your through-put) an extra $1000 bucks a year in toner. The PC driver and Intel-Mac driver both don't suffer this HUGE fault, but power-pc mac owners....?
