Recycling your Drum Cartridge

Just like toner cartridges, drum units can be recycled as well. And they should be! We don’t want them ending up in the dump where they will sit for centuries before disintegrating.

We realize that more than 400 million cell phones and ink cartridges and toners are tossed each year in the US. This is untold waste, as all these items can be recycled. To take part in a program of waste reduction, you should not only purchase compatible or remanufactured toners and drums, but should also turn in your old cartridges for recycling.

Drum units come second after toner for being replaced in your printer. They certainly make up a percentage of discarded printer parts and contribute to the destruction of our Earth.

Some places that accept returns/recycles don’t take printer drum units, but you can check with Recycle 4 Charity. They pay you for your empty cartridges.

Purchasing recycled drums, by buying only compatible or remanufactured drum units, also helps! Remember, at Inkjetsuperstore.com, you can get great savings on these compatible and remanufactured models, and contribute towards a healthy planet!
