HP Ink Cartidges XL vs Regular
What's the difference between HP XL ink cartridges and Regular HP cartridges?
A common question we get from our customers is the one above. Aside from the difference in price there must be another explanation why HP has two types cartridges for the same printer.
Difference:
The biggest difference is amount of Ink. The XL ink cartridges have more ink than regular cartridges. You can know how many pages you can print by checking the page yield of the cartridge. When you purchase your HP ink cartridges at Inkjetsuperstore you will find the cartridge information on the left side of the item page. There you will find the aproximate amount of pages you will print with that cartridge.
Important to Remember:
When choosing which cartridge to purchase the most important thing to remember is to know exactly how much you will print because if by any chance you get the XL cartridge and the printer is not used for a while, you could get a clog and the extra ink will be wasted.

I recently purchased a replacement 564 XL cartridge but it was half the size of the XL that I was replacing. I gave me the appearance that I was being ripped off. What is the reason for this size difference?
