a) Open the upper part of the printer.
b) Locate the loaded pin on the outside of the clear protective cover and push down the spring.
c) Locate the print head and move it towards the left side of the printer. d) You'll find the pads for the capping station on the right side of the printer.
e) With a syring saturate each pad with a solution of Simple Green diluted with water. You will only need 10-12 ml or cc.
f) Once each pad has the solution scrub it with a clean cloth. While doing so expect a slimy film of ink to come off the pads.
e) Let it dry
f) Move the print head back to its place.
g) Now on the printer settings in your computer perform a head cleaning task.
h) Last step is to run a nozzle check four times to make sure all is well.

It is a good idea to perform a capping station cleaning every six months and you can be sure your printing results will look Great!
