Things to Know About HP PSC Ink
A lot of people began their printing experience using an HP PSC printer . There are more than 80 different types of printers and they all use printer ink. The following are a few facts you should be aware of when using HP PSC ink:


When the Low Ink message appears or when you begin experiencing faded print, you should order a new ink cartridge. While you wait for it, you can print a few hundred pages after the Low Ink message appears, but the print quality will begin to deteriorate as the ink cartridge level decreases.
DO NOT take out the HP PSC ink cartridges if you do not need to replace them. If you do so, it may reduce the ink quantity and the machine will not know the quantity of ink left in the cartridge.
Once you open an ink cartridge, install it in the machine and use it up within six months of installation. Use unopened ink cartridges by the expiration date written on the cartridge package.
DO NOT dismantle or tamper with the ink cartridge; this can cause the ink to leak out of the cartridge.
If you mix the colors by installing an ink cartridge in the wrong position, clean the print head several times after correcting the cartridge installation.
Be sure to save the ink cartridge box for recycling purposes it will be easier to return to the original manufacturer recycling options or sell them to remanufacturers the latter can only be done in large volumes.
All HP PSC ink cartridges dry up if not used often. It is important to clean the print heads with a Q-tip and some windex to dissolve dried ink. Let it dry before inserting it back into the printer.
