Welcome Spring by Cleaning Your HP Inkjet Print Heads

When spring comes the first thing we want to do is clean up. Well today we’d like to focus on five specific HP inkjet cartridges that can use a spring print head clean up. We are talking about the HP 78, HP 22, HP 27, HP 74XL and the HP 92 ink cartridges.

The previously mentioned cartridges have several things in common. The first three are tri-color ink cartridges and the others are black. They are all compatible with most Deskjet, Officejet and Photosmart printers and they all have print heads and they get clogged and the main reason is dried ink.

The best thing to do is to run the “Clean Print head” option located in the properties section clicking on printing preferences. Now you can also manually clean the print heads all you need to do is take out the HP ink cartridges, use a cotton swab dipped in hot water or isopropyl alcohol, and rub it against the print head. Don’t let any alcohol get on any rubber gaskets.

Using high quality ink is a good idea too. You can get a great Holiday savings and great printing when you purchase compatible or remanufactured ink and toner cartridges. Made in an ISO-9001 certified factory, these cartridges will perform just as well.
