Graduation Photo Taking Tips
Regardless of the fact that there are always professionally taken photos of our graduates, it is good to have useful tips for Moms and Dads, younger siblings of proud Aunts to take great graduation photos. Going straight to the point the following are our five tips for great family taken graduation photos:
1.- Keep the Background Simple
Let’s face it there will be tons of other nervous and equally as proud parents during the graduation ceremony. The entire place could be a busy background and takes away from the dear graduate you want to capture. Find a simple background if you are taking the photo from far crunch down and make the sky your background or place your graduate next to trees or bushes. While you are lowering down let’s go to the next point.
2.- Go Low it’s the Best Point of View
Increase the noble and important look of a rob and cap look by taking the picture from a low point of view, looking upwards at the graduate. Crouch down to your knees to make it easier for you.
3.- A Wall is Always Good
Schools, Colleagues and Universities tend to have amazing architectural buildings so take advantage of them for great photos. Take the photo on an oblique angle to the wall thus giving it a perspective of going forward and owning the future which is the feeling of all graduates, don’t you think?
4.- Make it Emotional
You will probably post most of your great graduation photos but they don’t necessarily need to be only smiling or with a pondering grown up look. Tell your graduate to use different emotions and have some fun make him or her smile, grin, think, be stern etc.
5.- Give it the Time it Deserves
You and your graduate should take the time to pose, take as many pictures as you can and enjoy this precious moment that will only come once in a lifetime. Probably everyone will be a bit edgy and anxious but great photo taking needs time and patience and making it fun it will be an enjoyable experience after all.
