The difference from its predecessors is that you can buy this printer for less than $100 so if you have a low start up budget then this is your choice... BUT wait the fact that the printer is cheap it doesn't mean the ink costs are as well. You have two cartridges to replace the black and the three color cartridge. You do have however at Inkjetsuperstore remanufactured options that lower substantially the cost and bring them back into the race of overall cheap printing.
