The printing results speed and cartridge yield make it a great printer for small to maybe midsize places, but it would be a hassle for larger printing requirements.
Second Fact: Wireless simplifies your life. Who uses cables anymore? This printer offers a built in wireless (802.11b/g) network interface that allows multiple computers to share it on a network.
Third Fact: Draft Mode printing is NOT bad at all. We are draft printing activist here at InkjetSuperstore Blog! Yes it’s true because it is a fact that draft printing increases the life of your printer cartridge adding quite a few pages to the original page yield of every cartridge. Now if the printer has crappy draft mode results then this practice is not convenient and the whole purpose of saving goes down the drain (along with your ink and money). The draft mode printing results achieved by the review of Cambell Simpson from PCWorld Australia state that printing in draft mode not only will save ink but it will increase the printing speed to 31 pages per minute in black and 24 pages per minute in color.
Fourth Fact: Needs help on the Paper Handling. Ok all the facts don’t necessarily need to be good ones. Anyhow we found that on several reviews the paper tray of 100 sheets is not enough, on top you’ll find an automatic document feeder for no more than 15 pages. The issue with the tray is not only for input but also for the output tray making it hard for large printing jobs to be handled.
Fifth Fact: Ink Cartridges are relatively cheap. The OEM Brother LC-61BK black ink cartridge prints 450 pages and the price is more or less $24, the color cartridges 3 in total print 350 pages and cost $11.99 each. Obviously there are compatible options available for each type of cartridge and the price reductions really make it easy to say they are cheap ink cartridges. The black compatible Brother LC-61BK cartridge only cost $4.29 and you can print the same amount of pages than the original. The compatible color cartridges cost the same as the black and have the same page yield of 350 pages.

If your main needs are pumping out draft-quality documents quickly, and faxing and scanning, the MFC-J415W is appropriate and well priced. The inclusion of faxing and an automatic document feeder at this price is welcome and makes the printer an attractive proposition, even if we don't like the graphical interface and the poor paper capacity.”
