With all the heavy printing due to the Holiday season there are probably more empty HP ink cartridges and toners laying around the office or your home than normal. The aim of this article is to give you recycling tips for HP ink and toners that can be done for Christmas and also at any other time during the year.

5) A medium size office uses between 900 and 1,600 ink cartridges per year, sometimes even more.

If you have OEM HP ink cartridges that you want to return you also have the option set up by HP called HP Planet Partners Program.  You can either find an authorized retail recycling location to take your cartridges or you can print or order paid shipping materials for both HP inkjet and HP toners as well.  Only OEM cartridges are accepted and not all cartridges can be recycled they have a long list of  toners so make sure your cartridge applies.
