Having Problems with Your Inkjet Printer? 3 Quick Tips to Clean Clogged Inkjet Cartridges

If you are having problems with your inkjet printer, we have 3 quick tips to solve them. The issue could be because there are dried up inks clogging the cartridge. Meaning print heads are dirty or the rollers are covered in ink. It’s important to clean them so your pages come out just as you wished.

It has been a repeated question on how to get the ideal liquid solution to clean cartridges. You don’t want to use an abrasive or you will ruin your printer and  ink cartridge. Good solvents take care of dried inks, and won’t harm the plastic casings of printer and cartridges.

The following are 3 quick tips to unclog ink cartridges so you can choose the one that works best for you:

1.- Try Bathroom cleaners. They are easily accessible (since you keep them in your cupboard for cleaning the bathroom) and they are inexpensive. As long as they contain no sodium hydroxide and only isopropanol and propylene glycol, you should be fine. You can also just use a solution of isopropanol and propylene glycol with water, as well.
2. - You can spray the Windex on a paper towel and touch the paper towel to the print head of an old cartridge. Just make a quick wipe then run a test sheet to see if that fixed the problem.
3. - You can also take a piece of paper, the largest size your printer will take, and spray it with either solution and feed it through a couple of times. This will clean off the rollers. Don’t get the paper too wet or you will be trying to get soggy pieces of paper out of your printer!

One of the things we are proud of is the high quality inkjet cartridges we have for your printer. We offer OEM ink cartridges as well as compatible and remanufactured inkjet ink to choose from. We back our branded cartridges with a full one-year money back guarantee, to make the choice even easier!
