Ways to Save on Valentine's Day Inkjet Coupon Printing

The month of love is almost here but because Valentine's Day is just around the corner the best way to save on presents is to use inkjet coupons. Let's face it we all need a break in our spending efforts without having to compromise on something special for our sweetheart!

Lucky for us there are many coupon sites that are offering printable inkjet coupons so you can print and save immediately. Though it might seem simple there are ways to save on printer ink, paper and time when it comes to coupon printing. It is important to keep a few simple rules in mind and they are printer settings, plan your paper use coupon printing as well as printer ink savings. Following we will go into more detail regarding those simple inkjet coupon printing rules.

Plan your Coupon Printing
If you set up a regular coupon printing task once a week for example, you'll have more coupons to print at once.  Make a bookmark every time you find a great deal or keep a file with the links you found.  Planning will allow you to print the most deals with less paper and ink waste.

Printer Settings

If you change your printer settings to draft mode and print with black ink instead of color printing you will increase the speed of the printing task as well as saving valuable color ink.  Another great idea is to make sure you have the correct page layout so you can print more coupons per page.

Plan the Paper You Use
Obviously it would be a waste of paper and ink if you use photo paper to print your coupons.  Make sure you use regular copy paper.  We already mentioned it but changing the layout of the printing job you might increase the amount of coupons per page and thus saving.

Printer Ink Savings
All of the above mentioned steps increase the life of your ink cartridge.  There are other ways of saving ink when printing coupons and that is when you use remanufactured or compatible ink instead of OEM cartridges made by the manufacturer.  You will save sometimes up to 70% less and adding it to the savings of the coupons a few hundred dollars a week less are worth the trouble, don't you think?
