AirPrint Activator Let's You Print with Your iPad 2 and Any Printer


By now you probably know that in order to print from your iPad or iPad 2 you needed to download the AirPrint application.  But if you didn't know it only works with a few HP printers.  Now if you are used to printing from other printers brands then you need another great app. 

We found the AirPrint Activator to help you print with your iPad2 or any other iDevice. It basically is a Mac OSX 10.6.5 + iTunes 10.1 hidden feature that allows your shared printer to be visible on any iOS 4.2.1 devices. AirPrint allows you to print from new generation of Apple iPhones, iPad and iPod Touch to a printer shared over your personal WiFi network.

So in order to print you need to be connected to the same network as your printer. The AirPrint Activator finds the printer and allows you to print from Photo apps, from Safari web pages, iWorks apps pages and more.

*Special Tip

If by any chance you don't see your printer listed make sure your Printer Sharing is turned on. To do so go to System preferences > Print & Scan > and hit the Sharing Preferences button. Then on the next window double check to see if the Printer Sharing is on. Once you have the printer you chose is shown, hit the box that says "Share this printer on the network" and that will be in the page called Print & Scan.
